Just woke up from the always-so-comfortable bed of mine. I had been at home since the wee hours of the morning of 070206. I am still on Attend C status - can stay home and rest.
Bloody business
My nose started bleeding after recovering from 15 push-ups on 050206. I had to be excused from night walk. Applied pressure on the wound to try stop the bleeding. Horrors of horrors, the once left-sided nostril bleeding had worsen to both nostrils bleeding. It took quite some time before the bleeding stopped. My nose did not bleed for the night after that.
The bleeding started again in the morning of 060206. It bled just as I was about to fall in. This time round was bad! There was a lot of blood. It was the first time I felt that blood was flowing to the back of my throat. Had to stand by the bushes to spit the blood out. It took kind of long for the bleeding to stop. I went to the medical centre for 3 times. On the 2nd time, the medical officer (whom I really wanna complain about) said that he will send me to the hospital if the bleeding persists. After I returned from my 2nd trip to the medical centre, I had to rush back to the campsite. Went to the campsite for less than an hour and my nose started bleeding again. It started bleeding after I bent down to unload my barang barang in the sleeping area. I was sent back to the medical centre and "as promised", I was sent to CGH. Reached CGH with some other casualties at around midnight. In all I bled 5 times before my consultation with the doctor. I was unfit for duties for 2 days (070206 - 080206 inclusive). After the consultation, my nose bled again.
I do not deny that I was scared out of my wits after this incident. The bleeding was worst than before - blood was coming out from both nostrils and there was a much heavier flow. Panicked.
I will be going for my pushed-so-much-forward appointment with the specialist later. Hope I can get some excuse letter from the specialist for my condition. If the problem is to aggravate, I really do not know how I would handle it. *sigh*
Thanks to all the very caring friends I have got.
